"I am constantly humbled at the phenomenal talent we attract and retain here at Huntsman,” Oke said. “Our internship program has expanded to the new functions within the Kuala Lumpur site, and it was great to interact with our first-ever legal intern in Kuala Lumpur.”

The leaders shared words of wisdom followed by a question-and-answer round to learn more about the group members.

Bringing Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to Kuala Lumpur

Huntsman values personal growth and skill development

The Continuous Improvement team successfully rolled out a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training at the Global Business Services (GBS) Kuala Lumpur site. Eighteen associates were nominated and attended this training. The participants spent five days learning the basics of project management, the use of statistics and lean tools, and change management principles. Participants left the training as project managers with the knowledge to drive improvements in processes.

Participants are now Continuous Improvement (CI) practitioners who will lead CI projects within their teams. From this training, we are expecting more than 20 CI projects to be deployed into various GBS functions.
