We see chemistry as a driving force to help society meet the most pressing challenges of our time. We look for ways our products and innovations can meet the world’s growing needs for food, water and reduced emissions. That’s why we are embracing a circular mindset in our business, emphasizing resource conservation; sustainable, renewable sourcing and energy; durability and maintainability of goods; recycling and reprocessing; energy recovery; emissions and waste reduction; upcycling materials, and designing out waste.
In 2019, Huntsman rolled out Horizon 2025 targets with a robust plan for making Huntsman an even safer, more sustainable and more successful company.
The Horizon 2025 strategy articulates our company-wide direction for environment, health and safety, and is a crucial part of Huntsman’s growth and expansion into more downstream businesses and operations.
The strategy is aligned with the global Responsible Care® initiative and includes an ambitious set of specific, company-wide targets for Huntsman to achieve by the year 2025. Progress made to-date is denoted in green within each target.
